This is a true story about me and my ex-friend. Luckily I only knew them online so it wasn't such a big deal.
Your hate can't dissolve
Anything I know
It doesn't cloud my mind with an endless mist
Your insults don't hurt me
Your hate can't change what I remember
I remember when we were friends
When I turned to you for help
When you thanked me again
And again
I remember when you helped me
When you defended me
When even your friends liked me
When I gave you advice
That you willingly accepted
When you forgave me
After I swore at you and your friends
After I dissed your site and your lives
And even when everyone hated me
You stuck with me
And you didn't tease me
And you understood
But now that's all over
And loathing is the only thing we have in common
Loathing towards each other
And all I have to comfort myself
Is what I remember
Your hate can't dissolve
Anything I know
It doesn't cloud my mind with an endless mist
Your insults don't hurt me
Your hate can't change what I remember
I remember when we were friends
When I turned to you for help
When you thanked me again
And again
I remember when you helped me
When you defended me
When even your friends liked me
When I gave you advice
That you willingly accepted
When you forgave me
After I swore at you and your friends
After I dissed your site and your lives

And loathing is the only thing we have in common
Loathing towards each other
