This is a continuously growing site where all the graphics were made by me and most of the writing was done by my cousin, so its all original. All the images in this post are pets from the site, I think we have a great variety of creatures and objects, and a few worlds to explore on top of that! ~There may be a few rough edges or glitches since I've just uploaded most of the old site into the new site with the unexpected overhaul, and theres still a lot of things to be fixed, but I'll be sorting it out soonish. Thanks! And yeh thats on my to do list, its fine on my small monitor, but of course when I looked on my brothers huge mac it was tiled horribly. >.< So I'll be working soon on that...

Edit: This is odd, I've managed to enable background stretching on all popular browsers except firefox, which is annoying the main browser used on my site. If anyone has any insight on this I'd be grateful... And yes the image is still a bit rough when its stretched, but I'm working on those individually.

heh sorry to be picky about the background. It can be hard, my advice is to try and find large images meant for backgrounds or ones that are seamless. like try seamless space pictures in google.

i know a way to strech it to any monitor size, well know of a way. Its hard and tricky, wouldn't attempt. and you'd have to google it :colonu:

Its fine I cant make it perfect without being picky about every little detail. ^_^ And I managed to get it to stretch on all browsers except firefox which doesnt seem to like me... So I'll be making the images more tiled anyway when I get around to it.

Well its a good habit to worry about details, you cannot accomplish anything if you do not take them seriously. There is a difference between caring and over-obsessing, I am sure you understand.

I'm struggling with the table width stuff more than I thought I would, its given me a real headache. >.< I dont like having large areas of empty white content when I have nice backgrounds that I've now tiled. Also theres a large difference between the sidebar when the user is logged in or out. I dont want to have about a centimetre of space wasted just because it hangs out a bit when the user is logged out. I'm not sure which is worse, the jutting out part if the user is on one of the pages with a large picture, or the picture not being centred/messing up with spacing if I do centre it. :/ I cant seem to win either way... unless someone knows how to set up an option to pick the theme when the user registers. That'd also solve the weird default theme problem, the default is stuck using an old folder of the theme simple and it wont change to the theme I want in the admin panel, so I've had to keep the unnamed 'ghost' theme upto date with the one I wanted... This is why I've been trying to find a coder or someone that knows this stuff to help, I've amazed myself with making stuff like a delete option, but I have too much to sort out by myself, and I need it all up and running perfectly fast... I've been advertising a little and I want it to look good for that, but also I may not be on next month at all. So it needs to be self sufficient for then with a few pets I can release whe I have time. ^_^

Right, I finally finished my new pet set, sorry about the long wait everyone! But theres twelve breeds to this one pet, and you can only get them at a certain time of day. ;D Basically its the eevee of the Felkyo world, though it honestly wasnt based on eevee, I just like weather and how it changes the world, so I thought about how it could change a pet... Anyway hopefully it should take people longer to collect these while I finish some others off! Also on that note I'm wondering if theres any coders or even a talented animator/artist who I could get some help from on my site... If anyone knows anyone let me know! ^_^ In the mean time enjoy the first crystal based animal, the Silcrye. Yeh before I looked at the coding, or other sites, I was admiring the difference between states of weather and time in the sky and wanted to make a pet based on that, so it was made as an original concept. Originally I just had the night day and sunset pet, but then it started raining here and I got more inspiration. XD Maybe I'll use the code again if I find a good pet for it again, though I have some other fun coding that I found and want to have a go at using. :D

And by the way Skyter I mentioned on the myadopts that remaking your pet collection is next on my to do list. ^_^

The new expensive wolf bike has been released! This unusual one can be found in two colours in the repair shop on the loreuna map, or you can read the blueprints and introduction to them in the library. ;) And now I swear I shall get back to what I was doing... sorry about the random distraction!

As already announced on the twitter and facebook pages Loreuna has moved again! This time Felkyos town is in some creepy location haunted with ferocious beasts... If you want to try and tame one of these vicious things for yourself first go and read the warning article in the newspaper update in the library. Also this means the Merkat is no longer available, though it was out for a while... And by the way the new location pet isnt the new halloween pet. ;) That ones just going to be for halloween. So have fun hunting killer ghosts!

And on a side note, I had a huge slip up where I deleted the entire photobucket folder for the site, which was things like quest images, backgrounds, and library images. Hi! I know I've been off a lot lately, and I'm sorry about that, January is apparently a busy time for me. >.<' But I still had some time to celebrate the Chinese new year, and I hope you all get a chance to enjoy the food and fireworks in one way or another! Hi guys, sorry I appear to have gotten sucked into warcraft a bit recently. >.>' I knew I shouldnt have renewed my account... anyway I need help! Firstly I need a good programmer I can work with on some little problems and large challenges! But I dont know where to ask for one, and I have a feeling most would like to be paid instead of doing it for the fun or practice. >.>' So does anyone know somewhere to post to try and find a nice programmer?

And secondly I'm working on some puzzles and need some input on them. :D One is based on tarot cards and spotting little details, so you may need a magnifying glass for this one... though one of my testers suggested blowing up the cards so people could actually have a chance of seeing details... but I love my tiny cards. D: So what do you all think?

And theres also going to be a sort of crossword, I've faded the words into the background a bit to help though. ^_^ I've thought of just leaving the partly faded letters and see if people can figure them out, or maybe I should put clues underneath as well, I dont know. I was also thinking of having a hard and easy option for those that wanted a bit more of a challenge on these, maybe the easy one had clues and the hard one was just the picture? Or if their easy enough to read and guess maybe I should just have the easy one less faded and the hard one very faded? What does anyone think about that? all the crosswords have different themes by the way, and theres a lot more than these two...

And in a random spur of missing this site I decided to update it all to be in the right season, which mean the header changed and the Vieren in Gywnren forest have changed over to their spring version. ^_^ If anyone would prefer to have their Vieren in the order of the seasons you'll have to pm me for a winter one, I havent had time to sort out the shop stock yet... and I'm pleased to have been able to figure out how to get the same website icon/favicon that was next to the web address in the forum on all the site pages! Now you can tell the Felkyo pages apart from all other sites with the exclusive little butterfly cat symbol. ;P Maybe I can try tackling some other things later...

And finally I managed to get another guild pet finished! I struggled with the coding on the guild quest, but thanks to a helpful person we got it done. :) The newest pet is a Psimau, you can read about it in the library guild book, or you can try and get one here; http://felkyo.darkbb.com/h84-recreation-centre-foyer This one isnt as easy as just clicking links though, but have fun! ^_^ Its a taster of what I have planned from some fun on the side and it'll expand a bit when I have time later.

Alright its been a long time since I gave an update, but thats because I've been busy working on things. ;P I've got various ideas, most of which I hope to finish or put into action in the upcoming week. This isnt just pets either! The map has also been finished (finally), so you can click on any of the areas and be taken to its page, though I havent added the new pets just yet... But I do have a new pet, this one has been popular for some reason even while it was being made! XD Which is odd since it promotes unluckiness... Yep this is a friday the 13th pet! Its both cute, beautiful and evil, which makes a fun combo... Its only out on this Friday in the main Felkyo shop, then it'll be back some Fridays next year. However the shop stock will be taking some in if anyone wants to buy it before that, but remember the stocks limited!

(The sites server is currently down, if its not back up later I will extend the event. Maybe this is the result of making an unlucky pet on Friday the 13th. ;P )

And I have an interesting new update! I've created a special type of bottled pet that you have to hunt to find throughout the Loreuna map. Theres 13 altogether so you'll have to get hunting if you want to find them all! ;)

The Felkyo has finally hit summer! (We never have summer where I live so its a bit late here lol) The banners changed, the summer Vieren is out in the woodland portal, and theres a new feature in your pets manage page. If you check out the explore option now available to all pets you can choose to take that pet to the beach! Theres not any stat change involved with this at the minute, (though pets happily purr and shiver when you mouse over them here so they must like it!) but there is a new little pet on the beach you might want to pick up. ;) The Loreuna location will hopefully change tomorrow if everything goes smoothly so there'll be a new pet there too... When I rain down updates and new pets I make it pour. >:) Also I might be absent for most of August, so I'm getting it all done now. o.o'

The entrance page has gotten a bit more high tech too making it easier to Follow or Like the site, so lets see how many people there are out there. :)

Also I hope these updates arent spam, let me know if I should push all these into one post!

Now the Loreuna town has finally moved again, to the nice beach available in the pets explore option. This new pet is one of my favourites that I've been planning for a while, so I hope everyone else loves it too! Just go to the Update newspaper in the library and follow the links as usual. ;)

Also if anyone is really struggling with finding the bottles hidden in the map private message me know so I can check on them, or at least tell you which area they are in. ^_^

Wow I took too long a break... But I'm back again with a new pet! Hopefully closely followed by a couple more. I'm sorry about the big break I took, things kept getting in the way. >.< This pet was meant to be a halloween pet, but since it took me longer to make than I thought, and most people would have missed it anyway, I'm making it permanent. ^_^ Its available in the rubbish hole on the map, the same place where you can get the killer toilet. Its also in the same library book about animated objects, this one was a lot of fun to make. :) And I also finally added a library book for the hermit shrimps, and any other pets I add to backgrounds to come in the future. So now I'll get on with the other new things I was working on, they should be added soon hopefully!

Just letting you all know although I am working from various half broken laptops and computers while mines still waiting to be fixed I still managed to make the 12/12/12 day pet! Its release will automatically be only on that wednesday in two days time. I know I've been quiet for a long time here now, but I've been so busy with the site, life and some drama I havent had time for much else... But hopefully I'll be done soon with uploading all the old stuff and I'll be able to get on with the new ideas! I owe a lot of credit in the new opening to Hall of Famer, Abronsyth, and Isura for their greatly appreciated help in finding a site and getting through the many glitches and troubles. ^_^ Though theres still a few mostly cosmetic problems if theres any good coders out there who can help... I'll probably post up a help thread for anyone interested. :) Anyway the site is open now, though not everythings back up yet (mainly the map since thats a huge project) and I'm praying no big errors come up... Anyone that joins should check the message board and maybe the guides (pet site and forum) to check out how everything works now. If anyone has has any suggestions or problems feel free to tell me! I'm always looking to improve, though I'm still struggling with this new coding I will try my best. ^_^ So...

Okay, the maps finally back up! That was trickier than I thought... I had to rework some of the mechcanics due to the new coding system, but I hope its worked out alright. ^_^ Theres also little bits of new art hidden away, feel free to test everything out! I need to know if theres any dead links I missed. The only thing I couldnt figure out was the lottery system, but I'll work on that later. Now I'm going to work on restoring all the old pets, and then I have a new map place ready to be uploaded... If anyone has any problems in the meantime please let me know!

Its about time for something new! I've finished uploading the pets people currently signed up had, and the splicing lab is now open! You can find crossbreeds between a few creatures here. Theres only four at the moment, (one of which I had to give the site a pg 13 warning for...) but theres plenty more to come!

Thanks! Its been a labour of passion for about three years now? :D It was a bit hard at first, but I've gotten a lot better and faster, I can make a whole pet in about a day? Especially if its a small one. One of the big ones took me about three days straight just to animate it because its a weird ghost wolf and its legs cycle around, and all its many eyes, mouths and ears move lol. It was such a pain, but I love it. XD

I found some links that still linked back to the myadopts.php and changed them, let me know if you find anymore! I actually had a really good night of coding. o.o' I changed some stuff in the pets pages to make it look better, like a redo of the icons, some added buttons and a lot of centering... and I remade the explore with your pet feature from scratch. :D And I even kind of fixed the messageboard/shoutbox with an instant refresh! I meant to make it show a blank page with something like 'click here to see your message' but it wasnt letting me and it was about 5am by that time so I just stuck an automatic meta refresh into the message that popped up at the bottom of the page. XD So hopefully after I get all the items finished and up and typed about the site will be pretty much done. :D Then its only a few small minor things I need I think, mostly pulling info over from the forum... Thats my next coding project, but for my next design project I'm looking at time travel. ;P That should be much easier lol!

I guess I should post an update, and I wanted to show some artwork off. XD I've been working hard on the exploring with the pet option I made, in the spoiler are some screenshots. I made it so that the image changes depending on the time of day, and the Vieren plant pet has been moved into the garden and automatically changes depending on the time of year now. ^_^ I have a bunch of other plans to add to the explore system, so watch that space! Now my favourite image that I've made from scratch. o.o

Oooh, these look pretty! What kind of explore system is it? Is it kind of like an adventure, or have you hidden pets in certain areas?

By the time I finish it I think it'll be both lol. I dont really hide them, you just have to click on the obvious stuff to get to them, like the shell on the beach. The hidden ones are the bottle pets you have to hunt down since they are hidden throughout the map. ;P

Yeh I made a post about it in the twitter/facebook posts a couple of days ago. I've currently got a support ticket on it, and their looking into it, but since their busy with server transfers I think their a bit busy... :/ Its annoying its been down for about three days now... Luckily I can still work on images and the new wiki I made. thanks for the idea, it seemed popular. ^_^ And every item and thing can have its own page now lol.

Okay heres a little update, as some of you might have noticed theres been some more little changes and fixes. You can now organize your pets into groups, there is also two new item shops, though one does sell a kind of pet. ^_^ This is the start of a companion pet idea, and you can also get beds for your pets now. They currently dont do much besides look nice, but that may change later. ;) The wiki library has been completed, it just needs linking to the site, and battle system is well underway, but recently some bad some things have popped up in my personal life so I may be a little slow... if anyone wants to help out with a few little jobs to speed things up I'd greatly appreciate it!

Also to kick off the companion pets if anyone wants a special one just head to the keystone and type in 'life'. ;P

Um, I've managed to just log out and in fine on firefox, at first on chrome I had an odd problem with the www. site popping up instead of just http, but it just seemed to go away on its own once I cut that bit out of the url... I have no idea how it happened, if it was through a dodgy link or if it was a cookie thing, but if you have any information on a logging in problem please give me as much detail as possible. ^_^' I know the server was being a bit dodgy earlier, might that have been it?

Okay this is a serious last minute halloween update from me! So I'll let it run for a couple of days more lol. ^_^' This halloween has serious creeped up on me, I havent even done my pumpkins yet! But I managed to do a few things for the Felkyo. :) I have a new item, soul soup, a new mini pet, a ball of slime, lol, and a new pet! Okay this is a big update! I have good and bad news. I'll get the bad news out the way first, our wonderful coder is taking a month or two out to upgrade and improve her own site. So its likely we wont be getting any heavy coding based projects (like the battling system) finished until around April. Its fine, she has her own great site too, and I have a bunch of things to finish myself here anyway. That leads onto the good news, I have photoshop back! :D And I've been going crazy on it, I'm really sorry I missed a couple of events, I'm hoping a few new pets will make it up. ^_^ So the old location pet will be moving out (finally!) next week, if you havent got it yet you had better go get it (http://felkyocreatureslibrary.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Location)! The next location creature is very unusual... Its made out of fire and ice and its definitely one of my favourites. So as a little extra to apologise for my time off I made a special nebula version that can ONLY be gotten from the main Felkyo shop (http://felkyocreatures.com/felkyo.php) over the next two weeks. ^_^ There wont be any kept spare in the stock account, so you'll have to make sure you get them!

And I know I missed the Chinese new year, but its still the year of the horse right? So along with the special nebula creature I'm also putting the year of the horse creature in the main Felkyo shop (http://felkyocreatures.com/felkyo.php) for the next two weeks too. Its kind of a horse, mixed with some other creatures to make something very unique. I'll post a message on the message board the day before I take them both out.

Since its valentines day I've also made a couple of items, the valentines chocolates and a card you can send to someone special. ;) They are in Baulders boutique (http://felkyocreatures.com/shop.php?shopname=Balders%20boutique). I was so caught up in the art for the next project I may have forgotten to change the location. XD Its all sorted out now, the Selkulf is finally gone, replaced by the Iglaciar!
