cool so your making your site from scratch? Interesting too how your site address is just an ip address. Need hosting?

Is your site being build off the phpbb3 framework then?
The site looks nice, I find the mouse over transparency difficult to read the board.
Also I notice a bit of a delay sometimes when the site loads before the style is applied, is that just from the server?

Yup, running off my localhost lag is terrible. Oh and the lag with stable.php was just me forgetting to wrap everything in the ready function.
Here's the beta pet:

It looks like a neat concept. I hope you don't mind that I signed up. :3
of course not,
earn.php for your first beta pet. :)
Ignore any errors you see on earn.php, I'm working on it. Trying out new Jquery stuff.

Is it a home server? Whenever I try to look at it the request doesn't go through, so I haven't been able to check it out.

Mhm, when I'm asleep, I turn it off, it should be online during the day though.

I hope your not planning on using a home server for a finished site.
No I'm not, I'm currently moving the website to

Ok cool, was just checking. Used to run a game server on my alien ware and that wasn't a good idea.

I signed up and everything, but it's not letting me adopt the beta pet? It says 'Please select an egg below', but it's not really doing anything.
Other than that, the site art is really very pretty! Did you do the artwork yourself? :meow:
Yeah , I'm sorry, the cookie settings are wrong, fixing now ;) and no I didn't I have artists!

XD We must have opposite sleeping schedules. I see it now, it looks very nice.
I'm getting a new banner and I'm also almost finished with the shop system. ;)
Very first donation pet released!

So are you doing this art yourself? or do you also have an artist. Either way the pet and site is looking really good.
I have many artists.
Also, shops are now complete. Written in 100% ajax, no page reloading.

umm this is a bit weird, I do not notice anything besides a forum index. Did you by any chance integrate the adoptables site/script into your forum? If so, I'd say nice try.

Yeah I wrote the adoptables script as apart of the forum it's built into PHPBB. It works well because posting earns the users gold and they can buy pets via the shop.
You have to register than you can access "my stabe" "shops" etc.
this is what the actual click page looks like:

Its not actually as hard as it seems. Took me about 2 days to set up my first time. If you go to the DNS website you can get a free subdomain that links to your homeserver.
I used WAMP myself, but I hear Apache is better.

WAMP & UniServer have Apache in them as well as MySQL with phpmyadmin and such.
They are standalone server packages. Very useful for localhost development.
WAMP has apache though wat o_o
and two days? It's like a 2 minute install XD are we talking about the same program?:Q:
Or maybe you're talking about forwarding your ports?
