Madeline is one of my dearest friends and has AVM.

Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are the leading cause of stroke in young people. Formed during embryonic development, an AVM is a tangle of dilated blood vessels that disrupts normal blood flow in the brain by pooling blood within its dense center or nidus. These vessels may enlarge over time.

Madeline has had her 3rd stroke today. Last thing I heard was she was being transported to Duke Intensive Care. Please pray, if you believe in it.

EDIT:
Madeline still has movement in her limbs but is in more pain this time because of swelling in the brain. Not sure if the bleeding has stopped.

We just received wonderful news that Madeline's bleeding has stopped and is doing well! She is currently resting and the headaches have ceased. Thank God for answering all of these prayers!

She's doing very well now :) She's still gaining complete movement in her left hand so she has a bit to go. But other than that she's well!
