I was wondering how I could remove the ckeditor from the the shoutbox page? I want to try and stick the shoutbox in my sidebar and the editor is too big for it.

Well this you will need to edit the shoutbox script to get rid of the CKEditor. In Mys v1.4.0's powerful ACP you will be able to specify settings like what type of editor to use. The huge CKEditor, traditional bbcodes texteditor or simple form textbox.

Where do I edit? I tried a bit last night and ended up just removing the comment box altogether.

I would help you but I deleted the shoutbox from my site completely. You could just use a free shoutbox like cbox... or whatever the name of that one is.

That was going to be my second choice, just use cbox, but I wanted to use the shoutbox because it has the names built right in and stuff.

I guess it'll have to wait though, my host is down AGAIN.

I've noticed your host keeps going down :(

It never went down before. ;-; That's why I liked it more then my paid hosting which was always so slow. It was quick to run, rarely had problems... then suddenly they go and change something and poof, now everything's messed up.

umm are you using a freehost now? The script should still be fine on freehosts for this time being, aint supposed to be slow.

I think it's her host... not the script.

It's just x10hosting.
Because it has been doing it to my site a lot lately. ;3;

Well yeah, I dont suppose this script should have problem running on either free or shared host. Of course it will be more difficult for me to detect performance issue once I move the site to new dedicated server, it will most likely to be super-fast anyway. XD

Yeah, I'm on x10hosting. I've had to open two support tickets in as many days over various issues. :/ I noticed they changed some details about my account too. I'd prefer id they had left it.

I'm not sure if I should move or just wait it out.

Well I am not quite sure at this moment, but Id say its not recommended for anyone to ever downgrade hosting package unless you have a good reason. If you are using freehosts, check the bandwidth and disk space usage. Some are rather strict over such limits.

I can't see bandwidth, but I do see disk space, and it's telling me I have 36.91 / 1024 MB. I'm pretty sure it's just the host being weird.

A lot of people say they have problems with x10. Check out Hawk Host. I LOVE them!!!

Or perhaps this script has become somewhat resource-extensive with all the new features I've been adding? I dont think Mys v1.3.x should have such problem, they should be fine even on freehosts although it may be a different story with Mys v1.6.x's exploration system. XD

Perhaps... I'm not sure, I'll give it a few days to see how it goes. Perhaps it's just a rough period.

A free site that I use is serversfree.com definitely worth a look
