On my adoptable site, a user forgot their password. So they had their password sent to their email. They never received the email.. is this a bug/glitch? I manually reset the password for them, but I can't do this when I get more members and they forget their password.

I've actually had this as well - I'm not sure why it doesn't work.

It'll be really aggravating for me if my site does get really popular. ;o;

Oh! I know this one :3 Tell them to check their spam, the same thing happened to me until I figured it out

If you read the message when it sends the confirmation email it says "If you do not get the email shortly then please check your spam or junk email folder as it may have gotten caught in there."

Edit: I just send a test one and it was in the spam again so if they check there, that's where it should be :3

@Maximum: That's the thing, they checked both their inbox AND spam/junk folder.

Well, I asked and they said they use Yahoo. What email service are you using?

Same, do they have gmail? if they do tell them to change their email address to the gmail one and try that

Hmm, I'll still classify this as a bug/glitch. Hopefully HoF will have a solution to this. ^^

I use gmail and I had this glitch. It may possibly be something to do with cron runs or the site not submitting queries, but that's just a hunch.

That may be the problem, actually..

Mys isn't really set up for cron runs though, so I don't think its that. My hunch is the latter, query one.

Oh, huh. Well, I hope HoF can fix this. .3.
