Is there any way to optimize the myadopts page? My server says it's causing resource issues.

Traffic doesn't have anything to do with resource usage. If you have poorly made applications it's not going to matter how little traffic you have if each time someone visits a page it needs multiple CPU's to generate that page for the user.

Well one reason why Mys v1.3.1's myadopts.php page is slow is because of the pagination script not being optimized. I've done this in Mys v1.3.2 though, but cant say how much improvement it has achieved. Probably a lot, or just a little. Loading lots of adoptables image will generate considerable serverload anyway, your best shot is attempting to limit the number of images loaded on a page.
