New and having problems.

Hi, I'm Cremuex and I'm trying to get a pet adoptables site up and running.

I'm trying to use this code but I've also got a My virtual petsite (http://www.myvirtualpetsite.com/sezhiota/) with the help of Earth's amazing coding skills.

I followed This youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFk8wjZXaYw) and This announcement (http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4057) but I'm still having troubles.

This (http://sezhiota.elementfx.com/) is meant to be my site but even the install/index.php isn't showing up and I get the same 404 error showing up

So basically I'm stuck at step 4.

Also, I HAVE changed the config adopts thing just to config. I have Firefox and chrome, though mainly I use chrome. I briefly went through the eight pages on the announcement but I'm going to look through the help section now to see if I can find anything,

umm... If the site aint showing up, chances are that you have not uploaded your script to your root directory properly. You usually see a public_html folder, thats where the files should go if your site is meant to show up in the root directory. There's a chance you did not upload the files in the root directory. If so, you need to be careful with the url you enter to access your site.

Heh, oops, I added it to the public php file instead. :eye: I'll fix this right now, thanks so much for the help Hall. :pleased:

Also, may I ask, what's the credit system on this forum? Like, what do they do and how do you earn/spend them?

You earn credits through posting and selling things in shops, and then you can use them to pay other people for services (if they accept credits as currency) and buy things from other shops.
