Hey guys!

I was wondering, do you think it's a good idea to give eggs a shaking animation? Say if you joined my/someone's site that has it, would it annoy you or does it not really matter? And what about load times? Do you think a bunch of shaking eggs would be a bad idea for someone with a slower internet/computer speed?

I'm just trying to figure out what people like. :P I was thinking about having the eggs go through 'cracking' stages similar to Dragon Cave, but then at the very end of the 'cracking stages', the egg will shake as well.

All other ideas and suggestions are welcome!

Hmm..
I have them both but I like the idea of cracking and then shaking at the end C=
Though maybe some eggs have different animations?

Ok, thanks for your input! c:

And yea, I was thinking that too! Eggs with certain descriptions could float, glow, glint, etc!

You have three things to consider when using gifs (shaking images):
-People prone to seizures/with motion sensitivity/sensitive eyes (this can be mostly fixed by making the shaking slow-ish but not so slow it jerks)
-Slow internet connections
-Ad-blockers (some block all gifs for various reasons, regardless of what they are, but this can be fixed by asking users to white list your site)

It's up to you what you do with it, but I think the cracking is enough.

I like the cute shaking sequence you did, I thought it was pretty clever. But the eggs would still be adorable and pretty without it, if you decide to remove it!

Squiggler, thanks for bringing up those points. I'm still debating whether to have it or not so we'll see!

IntoRain, thanks! ^^
