And thank you for the compliment, HoF! The adoptable linearts I actually commissioned from Malibu on VPL, but the rest of the site art (besides the CSS) is 100% my own ;D

Honestly I'm still not sure about the art! I'd really prefer to use my own work, but I'm constantly worrying about most people simply disliking it.

Maybe I should put it to a vote? Show 3 different bases and see which one gains the most positive feedback, I suppose.

I love the both! The detail of the bottom is amazing, but dat fluffball up there. O.o I think in the end I like the fluff ball, but I don't know about others.
Edit: maybe you could do a mix? Like maybe hose fluff balls are the babies and the detailed ones are the adults? I think that'll give freezing pets purpose -what do you think? :3

Yeah, I remember last year, when I first started working on Ferre, a lot of people were fond of the more simplistic, "cutesy" ferrets. Ugh...decisions decisions. At this point I'm going to make a completely new (and tiny and adorable) set of bases and just switch to those.

Suddenly changed everthing on a whim, and with the help of my sister, we are making a new FerrePets, with a species called Qitors!

They hatch from eggs plucked from special trees.

Currently in the progress of commissioning a programmer/coder to create the new Explore feature, which will allow users to explore and chance upon pets, items, money, or nothing at all!

The exploration feature ("The East Forest" on site) is finished! Well, I mean the hard part is, thanks to FounderSim! Now I just have to add new items, pets, and stores, and we'd be ready to open!

Except that I am now saving money to commission a coder for a Stats and Competition feature XD But we're on track to be open by the summer of 2015!

Two new species of Qitor have been discovered?!

These are the Aerie and Ursa qitors! They are only available in the market.

Okay, I am redoing the pet art.

The current size is just not practical, considering it has to fit in people's signatures in order to grow. So I'll be working on smaller scale art and seeing if I can just improve the overall quality of it.
