Sorry for posting so many threads, but I'm having another issue with the password reset this time.

A beta tester on my site reported this to me. She tried resetting her password by entering her info into the Forgot Password fields, and it said an email was sent but she said she never got it.

I double checked with a tester account and I'm not getting the email either.

Can anyone help? :c

And yes, we've checked our junk folders.

EDIT: Okay, I know why. I checked the site email and there's emails in there saying this:

Sooo it's something to do with yahoo, gmail, etc's policies. Is there an easy fix to this orrr?

Found the answer for you:

Yahoo has implemented new DMARC security policy that requires all e-mail sent from a Yahoo address (like using Gmail’s Send Mail As option) to actually come from Yahoo servers or it must be rejected. See: https://productforums.google.com/d/topic/gmail/i5bT0eqkDUY/discussion Yahoo help article: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN4075.html

So it appears that the issue is with yahoo email. Do you have another email with a different provider like Gmail, Hotmail or AOL Mail? If so, Try changing your admin email to any of these and see if the issue persists(you need to go to ACP/Settings and change admin contact there), at this point my conclusion is that yahoo's new policy is the cause of this problem, as you cannot send automatic emails with a yahoo email.

Anyway, I wouldnt recommend anyone to use yahoo emails nowadays, its bringing a lot of pains to users, and lately they even randomly block your access if you have adblock plus installed.

Thank you sooooo much! I changed the emails in the ACP to the site's emails and it worked! You're a life saver! <3
