Shop adopts only sell once? help please!

How would I make it to where adopts i put in the adoption shop can only sell once? I am not good at CSS, at all, so help is required.. haha. I tried making the adopt where it could only be adopted once (conditions) and putting it in the shop, but that did not work. multiple people could adopt the pet. :catfish:

Well, i want the adoptable to be listed to be sold. In fact, I want to do this with multiple-- on my adoptable site, each adoptable is unique, and I would like to sell some of them.
