Can't install myBB through cpanel

CPanel has an app installer, which can be used to install myBB without manually downloading everything. However, every time I click install I get this error:

Required PHP extension not found : mbstring

I tried searching around and I found that mbstring can be enabled with EasyApache, but I looked all around cpanel and couldn't find it anywhere.

Are you using Mysidiahost or another web host?
