That and our net was down for a few days. I personally haven't slept much since the 16th. We went to FNM and I had to work the next morning at quarter to eight. Then I worked at eight this morning.

Winding down with some music, and setting up CH on Nemesis' hosting.

Will do... *yawns* I hate opening shifts (especially on little sleep, and no drinking to contribute to the problem...).

Hmm, alright. If I was doing a screenshot/video tutorial, I should use the host most commonly used, or the preferred option. Maybe I'll talk to Nemesis abou being allowed to create a free account to test-install it.

Would you happen to know what host is most often used for the script? I'm not sure which one to use. I think its either 000webhost or x10hosting, but I don't know - I figured if I should make a beginners guide, it should be using a host mostly used by beginners.

Hey Hoffie, until I get set up on Nemesis' hosting, I've set up a temporary situation to host Little Legend, it's going to be on 000webhost. I'll be uploading the script there to play with it.

Also look out for burakki.com coming soon... ;3

Yeah, MWC is huge. And I think the script provides a unique chance for people who are either experienced coders or new ones. The core values are there, they don't have to build anything, but they can add and change to their heart's content.

I'm not sure when I'll get it finished - birthday parties and all for my siblings, but I'll try to do it as soon as possible. Question though - I followed the instructions you had in the v3 thread to install, but they didn't include some of the steps in the old tutorial. Is that the new way of doing it, or should the old tutorial still work?

I guess Adoptable sites aren't exactly that profitable in general. xD But they are popular - think of Dragon Cave. It's a lot simpler then what you're doing here, but it's insanely popular. Eve if like, 90% of adoptable sites created with mysidia never work out, tons of people would love to try it.

I'll start with a basic video and screenshot one, go from there. Perhaps that and the written guide will be enough. Once I'm done, would you mind if maybe I put a stickied thread in Questions and Support with links to the tutorials? May cut down on a lot of topics.

I run a site that has a lot of trouble with member activity and we had a few ideas that contributed to growing quickly. I can have a look into it if you like. The good thing you have on your side is that there is literally nobody else doing what you're doing right now. No competition! Downside is, most people don't know its there.

If you say its okay, I'll see what I can do about going through a couple of different types of tutorial formats. Videos are all good and well, but some people like written instructions (simple or complex), others prefer screenshots. Some need tutorials created solely for the host they are using, others are fine with general instruction. I can see what I can do to cover all bases.

If I may suggest - it might be a good idea to have a link to tutorials somewhere on the main site or in a more obvious place in the forum. The most common problem I've observed is that people ask how to install it and are fine once they are pointed towards the current tutorial. They simply aren't finding it at the moment.

True, I guess the place is pretty quiet most of the time. xD

Video tutorials - sounds like a pretty good idea. Is there a youtube page for Mysidia? Did you have any ideas for other tutorials? I've seen a few posts before with people asking how to edit pages, add adoptables, etc - A general "tutorial" section for beginning may be a good idea. I'll see what I can do - mind you, I'll have to start tomorrow, it's 11 pm right now. xD

    Thank you! :DD

Yeah, I can do that - I've uploaded this script a hundred times, easily (so many glitches when I started, lol...) I can do it easily. :3 I can probably help trying to figure out some other stuff too, but the complicated things I'll leave to the coders.

What do you want me doing every day? Do I just solely work in those two forums or in all of them, helping where I can?
