Well this idea was derived from the usergroup system in vbulletin forum script. VB has like 30+ permission settings for usergroups, and thus its a pain to go through all of them when creating new usergroups. It allows you to 'inherit' a template usergroup permission from another usergroup and make minor edits based on that, which I believe is an excellent idea.

Can anything dealing with degradation be customizable? As I tend to get burned out on sites that require logging in and feeding, playing with, and up-keep or the pet dies or can't level up, I don't want those features in my own site. Since mine is going to be more of a RP, pretty things to look at, and watching the pets grow, I'm not going to make it gaming intensive. I'm hoping these implementations will provide options to not include required up-keep aside from clicking to grow.
