Actually I quite like this idea. I do not work on an adoptables site of my own nowadays, but I may modify the official script in a way that a specific location is reserved for adbars(and the location may be customizable by site admins, depending on their tastes). On the forum you see the adbars being displayed in a way like this, I will think of a way to accomplish the same thing for adoptables sites in future.
