PewCats 12-12-2015 02:56 PM

The theme says I deleted the body html.

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 03:06 PM

Yeah, it seems that the body html(template.tpl file) is empty. What did you do to make this happen? Did you edit it in ACP, or on your local disk?

PewCats 12-12-2015 03:41 PM

ACP. I added something I didn't delete anything :desudesudesu:

Hall of Famer 12-12-2015 03:58 PM

umm I see, this is strange, it shouldnt just delete content. Can you upload the template.tpl from bookstore theme to your directory /templates/bookstore? Just overwrite the old file, which is empty anyway.

PewCats 12-13-2015 01:54 PM

i fixed it, hopefully it doesn't happen again. How do I change the page title? HTML? Cpanel?

I figured that out. How do I change the favicon and the forums?

I figured out the favicon XD I need to try more. I fixed most of my problems so far, yay!

PewCats 12-13-2015 03:40 PM

One more question. Would it be possible to have image badges for each group?

Hall of Famer 12-13-2015 04:20 PM

Well you can, but it cannot be done in ACP, you must do a lot of coding to achieve this.

PewCats 12-13-2015 04:37 PM

Okay thanks! :D

OH crap. What did I do now

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SmartyException' with message 'Unable to load template file 'template.tpl'' in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php:127 Stack trace: #0 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(374): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->fetch('template.tpl', NULL, NULL, NULL, true) #1 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_template.php(135): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->display('template.tpl') #2 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_view.php(280): Template->output() #3 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_frontcontroller.php(102): View->render() #4 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/index.php(74): FrontController->render() #5 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/index.php(78): IndexController::main() #6 {main} thrown in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php on line 127

It changed.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SmartyException' with message 'Unable to load template file '/home/pewcatsm/public_html/templates/Bookstore/header.tpl' in 'template.tpl'' in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php:127 Stack trace: #0 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php(286): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->fetch(NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, false, false, true) #1 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/templates/compile/dea5a5a88c2f6baf4aea1616768c3706b11ca66b.file.temp late.tpl.php(33): Smarty_Internal_Template->getSubTemplate('/home/pewcatsm/...', NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, Array, 0) #2 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(180): content_566df96aa44344_90551761(Object(Smarty_Inte rnal_Template)) #3 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(374): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->fetch('template.tpl', NULL, NULL, NULL, true) #4 /home/pewcatsm/public_html/classes/class_template.php(13 in /home/pewcatsm/public_html/inc/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php on line 127

I fixed it. There was an error with the names.

No I didn't.
It's messed up when I log in, that's my problem!
EDIT: I fixed it again! For real.

Hall of Famer 12-13-2015 05:25 PM

It means that the template.tpl file in your theme is missing. Did you change your theme to a non-existing one?

PewCats 12-13-2015 05:47 PM

I fixed it, yeah, the template file was empty. How do I set up the forums? I sent it a forum installation request.

Hall of Famer 12-13-2015 07:59 PM

Sure I can install a forum script for you. You just need to tell me the name of the forum script, and I will install it at your site's /forum directory.

Update: I fixed your site for you, it seems that your theme settings is incorrect, but the problem is gone now, you shouldnt receive smarty error anymore. It appears that the uppercase('Bookstore') and lowercase('bookstore') tend to cause trouble for your site, you have to be careful when entering this value in ACP.

PewCats 12-14-2015 02:59 PM

I'm so sorry.
I broke it, again. I don't know what happened.
I tried to open the site and it didn't work, so I tried to fix it.
I failed.

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 03:52 PM

Well what did you do before you broke the site? When I accessed your site last time, it was normal. I scanned your site, and I didnt find anything wrong with the script files.

Edit: It seems to me that you messed up with the styles. I set the default theme to 'main' and 'green' and both are working(although the dropdown menu is broken, but that's another problem), while if I set the theme to be bookstore it will not work. So I wonder, did you modify some files in /css or /templates/bookstore folder? This may be the cause of your issue, but note that helping you with custom CSS is beyond my responsibility of support here.

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:12 PM

It's something with the theme files.

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:14 PM

Yeah I figured. If I set the site theme to be 'main' or 'green', your site is working, but 'bookstore' is not. Did you modify the files in 'bookstore' theme, or the /css folder?

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:25 PM

The bookstore folder. I reinstalled it over and over again.

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:28 PM

Well you see, I was asking you what you did on your site before you started to see blank page. Was it working for you before you installed bookstore over and over again?

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:31 PM

I don't think so.

I can login, but once I login it's messed up.

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:36 PM

Its messed up after you logged in, because the theme for guest is temporarily set to 'main'(which is working), and the theme your account uses is 'bookstore'(which is not working). I fixed it for you, by temporarily setting your account theme to 'main'.

Anyway, the 'bookstore' theme was working for you before, last time I checked. Why did it stop working all of a sudden? Did you change something about it?

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:40 PM

I must've. Thanks for all your help!

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:44 PM

Its alright, I am just surprised since it appeared to be working before. Tonight if I have time, I will help you install bookstore theme, and make it work for good. Its strange why it shows a blank page, I am very interested in the cause of this.

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:48 PM

I may choose the Chibiry theme XD

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:51 PM

Oh okay. I honestly dont know why bookstore wont work for you, especially after yesterday when it used to. Lemme know what theme you want to install, I will install it for you so long as it's compatible with Mys v1.3.4.

PewCats 12-14-2015 04:55 PM

Where would I get a custom theme?

Hall of Famer 12-14-2015 04:57 PM

You can find a theme in this subforum, just like how you found out Bookstore. Note you need to check Mys v1.3.4 compatibility:
http://mysidiaadoptables.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=26

If you want a totally custom theme, you may have to ask a member to do this for you. I know users like Tahbikat are good at designing custom themes, but I cant be sure if they have time to take your requests. I cannot help you with this myself, since designing themes is not my responsibility.

PewCats 12-14-2015 05:14 PM

i'll work on making one later, but I'll just keep bookstore for now. I'm interested in making a theme similar to the one on here.

How do I install chibiry? ;m;

Hall of Famer 12-15-2015 03:00 PM

Well I am not sure if you can install Chibiry, since it was made for Mys v1.2.x. Inferno may have a new version compatible with Mys v1.3.x, you may want to send him a PM and ask for details.

PewCats 12-15-2015 03:01 PM

Can you install bookstore for me?

Hall of Famer 12-15-2015 03:05 PM

Sure, I can do it for you. I will update you once its complete. ^^

Edit: It works now, you may want to check it now at: http://pewcats.mysidiahost.com/

PewCats 12-15-2015 03:14 PM

OMG I broke the header trying to change the text (ARGHHH)
How do I get forums?
(I think I can fix the header. Maybe.)

Hall of Famer 12-15-2015 03:16 PM

Well I see you ordered forum installation, so I can install it for you. However, you still need to tell me what forum platform you want to have. You can use MyBB, PhpBB, SMF, Vanilla, or whatever forum software of your choice, or even a paid forumware if you have license.

PewCats 12-15-2015 03:19 PM

Whatever this forum uses. However if it's paid or you designed it and don't want me to use it then MyBB.

Hall of Famer 12-15-2015 03:25 PM

Well it's no problem, I was just trying to give you some choices, since by default users always go for MyBB. You can take a look at some popular forumwares below, and tell me what you like the best? I've listed demo forums for MyBB, PhpBB, SMF and PunBB, lemme know which one you like the most:

MyBB: http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/1/117/MyBB
PHPBB: http://www.try-phpbb.com/31x/
SMF: http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/1/125/SMF
PunBB: http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/1/123/PunBB

PewCats 12-15-2015 03:27 PM

PunBB seems pretty awesome.

Hall of Famer 12-15-2015 03:32 PM

Okay, I will install it for you then.

Update: Your PunBB forum has been installed, I will PM you the details of admin login info. Your forum is located at:

PewCats 12-15-2015 03:36 PM

Thanks! Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum.

PewCats 12-16-2015 01:17 PM

How could I make an Altar of Sacrifice?

SapphirePhoenix 12-17-2015 05:26 PM

What do you mean?

PewCats 12-17-2015 06:49 PM

Nevermind. How do I make a shop active?

SapphirePhoenix 12-17-2015 07:12 PM

Active? Do you mean to get more people to buy from it or what? I'm sorry..
