RE: help needed with upgrade

I think this script hates me *cries* I uploaded the pictures in gif format to the site (in the picuploads/gif/ folder) changed the links to the new gifs in the MySQL. Got the new html codes and I still can't see them >____<

Well, perhaps you need to actually chance the name of the pics, and not just in the database.
Go into your FTP-thing and go to picuploads, gifs, *YOURPIC* and rename it to whatever you renamed it in the MySQL Database.

Do they not work on all sites or just a specific site?

well I only use the html codes on two other sites. One is my own site ( www.borrowedangels.com/pets.htm ) and the others is a Dutch site, where the codes of the old script did work in the beginning o.O

@trollis: I didn't rename them. I uploaded the pictures in my adoptable folder, then went to the MySQL and changed the link from the photobucket one to that on my own site. for example, I changed it to:

http://www.borrowedangels.com/pets/picuploads/gif/aquarius1.gif

and if you open that link in the browser, it does work

Ok, it looks like the BBCodes that are being generated are off a bit. When you created the site and installed the adoptables script did you set the script path box to /pets?

What's happening is that the BBCodes are pointing to the wrong place on your server. Open your inc > config.php file and make sure that the $script_path variable is set to /pets instead of being blank. Once that value is set correctly then the BBCodes should work fine.
