Help installing a template

I tried to install the midnight rain template and it's not working. Can someone throw some advice my way?

EDIT: I tried using the template and everything's messing up and overlapping.

Umm, what exactly isn't working? Are you getting errors or something?

PokeFerno 06-06-2014 02:32 PM

Here Wallie : http://prntscr.com/3qa8er

Edit: Look at the right. The nav isn't supposed to be there.

Hwona 06-06-2014 02:35 PM

Uhh, the right? or do you mean the left?

PokeFerno 06-06-2014 02:40 PM

Look at the all the links on the left side. They're supposed to be at the top. It's all messed up.

Hwona 06-06-2014 02:53 PM

Are you using the right version and if so, did you change anything of install everything?

PokeFerno 06-06-2014 02:58 PM

I did everything it asked me too. I need HoF cause he's the one that made the integration of this template to 1.3.4

Hwona 06-06-2014 03:00 PM

So you're using mys v.1.3.4? Err... do you have the menu and topbar stuff in your css sheet?

PokeFerno 06-06-2014 03:48 PM

Now I am greatly confused. How do I do that?

Hwona 06-06-2014 03:50 PM

Go to the theme folder, open the css sheet, and tell me if you see a "#" with something like "topbar" or "menu" beside it. ;3

PokeFerno 06-06-2014 04:00 PM

There's a menu. Idk what to do tho I downloaded it like I was told to. http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/for...ead.php?t=4364 I'm not sure where to put the class and then the template folders. I am beyond confused

Hwona 06-06-2014 04:15 PM

That's all you did? It seems like there's supposed to be a class and template folder in there?!

IntoRain 06-06-2014 04:53 PM

You should have a class folder in your mysidia folder. Simply copy and overwrite the class_.php files. You should also have a template folder, where you should put the midnight_rain folder

The folders are in the pack right? I don't see them. :P

IntoRain 06-06-2014 06:08 PM

Yes, they are inside the .rar that you can download in the thread. Just downloaded it and they were there

Re

Are the folders called that? O.o I don't see any folders other than "news" and "img". Is it a file?

IntoRain 06-06-2014 09:36 PM

Yeah, the folders are like this:

Midnight Rain 1.3.4 > classes > files
Midnight Rain 1.3.4 > templates > midnight_rain > img and news you talked about

Hwona 06-07-2014 10:31 AM

Umm, do you have those folders? If not, maybe download the files again?
