I can't log in to my new site! D:
 

I followed the instructions for installing 1.2.4, and everything went fine, and I got to step 6 where is said it was installed and everything. But I can't log in to my site. I have the right details, and I am listed as the only user, but whenever I try to log in:

"Sorry, we could not log you on with the details specified. You can try again or request a password reset."

Then if I try to reset the password, it says:

"There's been an error. The details you entered do not match any user in our system! We cannot reset your password at this time.
The username neonyx's email is jenison_neonyx@hotmail.com
The username has 0 entries."

Neonyx is of course me.

I've reinstalled this thing countless times, and none have had any more or less success. I've CHMODed all the right things before instillation, btw. It also makes no difference whether "www." is in the URL or not.

What do I do? -.- Has anyone else had a simular problem with 1.2.4 and found a solution? Is there something tiny I might have overlooked?

Try To Register For A New Account' And The Go To Your MySQL, And find adopts_users and then click on it and then browse and delete the first id!

I made a new account... Where is this "adopts_users"? :S

You sure it's in version 1.2.4?

umm this is indeed getting quite intriguing to me... Seems that about half of Mys v1.2.4 new users had problem logging in after installation, but this is not a glitch that occurs all the time. I will look into the script file later today or tomorrow to see what may be the problem.
