Serious Dragon Adoptions
Serious Dragon Adoptions has successfully finished Closed Beta, it is currently in the open Beta phase. (Which is why I am here, telling you)
Serious Dragon Adoptions or SDA for short, is right now a typical dragon adoption site, you click an egg it hatched and you breed it. However, what we are working on is much more. In the future there will not only be an optional dragon battle system, but your very own avatar in-front of one of the many dragons you have raised. Said avatar will be customization with clothes and battle gear. Welcome to Terra, a world that is not unlike your own Earth. Terra was first found by a Jonathan Yullsworth; the year was 1950 and his cargo ship the U.S.S. Marriot was on a routine delivery from Miami, Florida to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Somewhere inside the area known as the Bermuda Triangle the cargo ship vanished; it wasn't until the year 4545 that Terra was officially discovered and the Bermuda Triangle became the Bermuda Gateway. Over the years various objects that had vanished from Earth appeared on Terra only for the inhabitants to lea from the technology and advance their race, which is the reason why dragons still exist on Terra and not on Earth, being how on Earth they were hunted out of existence. Currently there are 2 Dragons;

Thought I would post an update, we now have 3 dragons and today is an event day (only day you can get this dragon Dagger Heart)

This looks interesting, seems to me that you plan to develop it into an RPG at some point. I wonder how you can make a battle system though. I have plans for a battle system in mysidia adoptables, but it definitely ain't coming out in 2013.

Yup! I want it to turn into an MMORPG eventually but thats probably years down the road!
I have been looking at pokebattle type stuff but haven't found anything promising just yet :( so once I learn php better I might have to just make one myself, or if I get enough money pay some one to do it. Which ever comes first lol. |
Another Update: No longer requires the "secret question" to register. That one was a pain to have in >_>;

Yet another update, we have had a SAD day event, currently in our Easter Candy Week even, and will be having an April Fools event. On top of all of that we now have dimorphism up and running and even alt dragons :)

I closed down this site a while ago, it saddens me coming back to pick it up (I know much more about PHP now than when I started) that this script is still in the sad state it was when I first got it.
I thought it would have been updated by now. Well anyways, like I said in the next coming months I am planing on re-releasing my site under a new name with new sprites and better code using Mysidia as a baseboard. |
