Coming Soon: The World of Pippa
Expected Date for Closed Beta: Late September 2012

Goals:
Petsite Element: Raise your pet through clicks, obtain items to care for and customize it.
RPG Element: Play through the story and choose either to join the dreaded Drogo Clan or defeat them.

Story Plot:
Long ago, the seven clans of Pippa lived in peace. Each clan, while maintaining their home cities, worked together to build the magnificent City of Odell. The power hungry Drogo Clan had different plans for Pippa and attacked the capital. They burnt everything to the ground, barely allowing the population to escape. The once beautiful city, now known as The Sleeping City, was left abandoned and in ruins, or so everyone thought.

A new, stronger city was built to the southwest of The Sleeping City. It was named The City of New Odell. The surviving citizens of the old capital have worked together to build it to match the glory of their former home. However, the new capital has been tightly secured to protect it's people from the dreaded Drogo Clan. If anyone is to feel truly safe in these strange times, someone must take on the task of finding and dealing with the Drogos before they put their plot into motion to take over all of Pippa. So, brave traveler. The choice is yours.

Game Play:
What makes Pippa unique from most other clickable pet sites is the mission system. As you complete missions, you progress through the story and earn access to new stores, items, and maps.

All I have left to do before the site can be opened up to closed beta is the NPC pages and a lot of the artwork.

Great. You are an intermediate skilled programmer aren't you? Do you us object oriented programming. If so, I'd recommend you to make some MOds/addons and release them to the community when you have time.

When I get a better feel for the script maybe I'll be able to take on mods. Right now the best I can offer is those little tutorials I've been posting.

I see. The script's syntax will change a lot in next release though, but I know you won't have much problem getting used to it.

My site will be on x10hosting. I was going to use yours, but the site would never load for me, so I went with one I am familiar with. I don't like how much downtime they have though. :c

umm this is weird, I thought Nemesis' hosting service has much less downtime than x10hosting.

Our up time is 98.8% which I don't think is bad for a free host. Derpstra can you please specify the problem you were having. Is it http://99webs.info/ won't load at all for you? We did just recently switch from a static website to a forum and then now a wordpress blog. May have something to do with it. But actually wordpress has been running really well and even though im still new to it I do really like it.

The biggest difference you will get with my host rather than x10 is the service you see now. x10 will never directly work with you like I would. As to them your just a number but to me you would be like my family :happycbig: See if you can provide me with more information to help you.

Yeah, it won't load for me either. lol. I wanted to use your host for Albisian because of the great service and the lack of downtime.

okay well i still need more info. like where are you located and what error it gives. 404? Maybe a screenshot would help. Again what domain are you using because /gemstone is now gone. also what browsers?

I go to 99webs.info I don't put the /gemstone I use Google Chrome and I tried it on Firefox too. Derpstra posted a screenshot two or three posts above.

IIRC Nemesis shut down that section of the site. Just go to the main page and everything is there for sign up and log in. ;3

correct and then http://99webs.info/clients/ would be where to log in.

I can not find any screenshots in this thread. there is a blank post by derpstra so I am assuming thats supposed to be it. lol out computers just arnt agreeing with eachother. as i cant see your screenshots and you can't see my host. :(

also I am sure many of you noticed that I updated our theme in word press and it reset our images and text :mii: very frustrating.

neither of those urls are working for me. They all go to the same error that I screenshotted. :c

That's what I get too. It just refuses to go to the site at all, no matter what the url is.
