Oof, you may message Hall of Famer because I'm unfamiliar with trying to manually install the website. I used the free Mysidia free hosting package for both my sites and he installed it for me and it was quick. I do know several members told me they all had issues trying to self install.

If you try to reinstall, make sure to clean the database first or you may get issues(unless you havent gotten past the first stage yet). If theres a problem with redirection, try to check if .htaccess exists on your public_html directory. Some FTPs may hide .htaccess file by default so it aint uploaded to the server at all.
