Adoptable Types!
 

So, we have a very nice script for us to use, but we need ideas for what type of adoptable images we want on the site! ^_^

What would you like to adopt? If you can provide image examples, that would be helpful as well.

Please keep in mind:
- Types of adoptables (like creatures, human-like things, objects, etc...)
- Style of art (sprite, realistic, etc...)
- How they will evolve (family trees, items, regular clicking..)

If you are an artist and would like to contribute any art, please post examples! We might be able to use some of your art. I would also be happy to submit some art once we decide on what type of adoptables we want.

How about fantasy like adoptables that evolve when certain objectives are accomplished? And then for the style I'd suggest realistic or anime-like.

And I'm not a professional artist but I'd be happy to help out in any way. I doubt I have anything useable as of right now, but I wouldn't mind drawing up a couple of things for you to use.

I also like the idea of fantasy adoptables. Dragons are a bit over done, but there are TONS of mythical creatures that haven't been tapped into yet.

We could even have contests where forum members color in line art provided by an artist, and the best ones get picked for an actual adoptable!

Some mythical creatures could include anything from this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ical_creatures (which are mainly greek mythological creatures) But we could pull from other cultures as well. Japan has some crazy ones :3

I really like some of the designs, and they could obviously be re-drawn and edited.

HoF is free to use some of my adopts from my site if he needs stock images to test things out.

Mythical creatures? *thinks* Kelpie, Unicorn, Pegasus, Pegacorn, Skeletal Creatures, Zombies (animal and human and mythical?), Dragon (oriental, wyvern, western, serpent, lyndworm, queztalcoatyl, kirin/qilin, etc, etc), naga, hydra, medusa, hybrids, griffin, hippogriff, ghoul/ghost, goblin, orc, elf, centaur, saytaur, mermaid, mer-animals, sea-horse, faerie/fairy, pixie, sprite, spirit, made-up, behemoth, leviathan, pie (what?), minotaur, werewolf, vampire, vampire bat, syrx (sp?), hellhound, chinese phoenix (fuenghuang sp?), phoenix, russian firebird, roc, demon, shade, shadow, etc

Maybe some kind of snake thing that isn't exactly a snake but is big or something?

I personally have 2 sites in the works, one is called Kaplushies, and the other one is The Realms of Asryndia which is about Dragons. Kaplushies is about plushies you can dress up and play with pretty much... XD

I'm glad people like the mythical creatures idea :D

I wouldn't mind having promo adopts pop up once in a while that are sprite-style or video game based, etc. I'd personally like to stick with more original art though ^_^; Liability issues and the like...
