Wow, this is some good active stuff. :D
Just wanted to see if it's still active. ^^
A question about v1.2
Will we have to reset everything or will there be a way to "add" the new stuff to the allready reistered ame?

Kaeliah 01-25-2011 07:17 PM

Yeah I suggest we use zip as well to hold the files.

For Developing purposes can you please list Major Database Changes on releases? Like Anything that changes in adoptables/owned_adoptables/users etc? New tables?

Kaeliah 01-25-2011 08:57 PM

The smaller releases don't usually have database changes, just script changes. The major releases will have database changes and there will eventually be a function to simply update the entire script without having to replace.

Ok, But if they do :D can you please list them on future releases? This is from a MODDER's point of view by the way, if you don't get why I'm asking

Well in future we may post a changelog in premium member's area, for those aspiring developers who cannot follow the usual upgrade procedure.

... What's that supposed to mean :cfrown:

Kaeliah 01-25-2011 09:42 PM

It means there will be a log of all the changes made in through the development of the script in the Premium Members forum.

You will see what I mean in future. Later this week I will be trying to do a simple upgrader from Mys v1.1.3 to Mys v1.1.4. This should be my first experiment on upgrader scripts.
