000webhost error

Recently I made a server to run the adoptable script with 000webhost. This morning I found out that they removed it due to a violation in the TOS. They said that adoptable script is not allowed. I was wondering if this is indeed an issue. There is a tutorial on this forum that helps you to load it with 000webhost. If this is outdated, is I true that the only other way to go is x10hosting? If not which is. If so, I had an error which prevented me from installing the MAS to it. It said it could not locate the file /install/index.php

-thank you

Well if it cannot locate /install/index.php, chances are the files are not exist or someone has removed them. Did you try reuploading your files?

And I am not quite sure what business 000webhost has against the script, seems to me that they do not have a policy against adoptables sites. It may be some materials you are using/referencing that causes the problem? Consult 000webhost by submitting a ticket, this will help.

yes, they deleted it because they updated their TOS where you cannot have adoptable script. i'll try reuploading my file to x10hosting

I see, but the other members do not have this problem. This is weird.

It is I checked the terms of service and I didn't see anything that said you can't have a adopt script... My site is working just fine

I heard from a few people on virtualpetlist that 000webhost doesn't allow adoptable scripts. It does say in their terms that they don't allow gaming scripts though. Also they seem to just delete straight away and don't give you any warning. (so if you didn't back-up everything is erased)

That's strange, because I've had my site there for a good 5-6 months now, and I haven't had a problem with it. Maybe it's because your site is rather recent, from after they updated their terms? If other members haven't had theirs deleted, it's possible that 000webhost can't delete them because those aren't the terms they agreed to.

Probably that wouldn't be fair if they took it off here's the terms

(allowed if you upgrade account)
I think they need to email you a reminder to upgrade account at least, and wait for 2-3 days for you to respond on whether to 'upgrade'. It is against the TOS if they just delete your site right away. Sue 000webhost if it does this to you.

That's what I would do, cause that's a violation of their ToS
