Microphone debug

I had a problem for the latest days.My microphone does not record anything!
I have a C-media device and PolderbitS driver.And C-media does not record anything than a pop voice.Please help me!

dont know, we need more info.

Could you suppply your computer specs, including what type of microphone, the chipset to your sound card would be great. if you dont know then please enter this command into a terminal and paste the results here By Low Sky ..
