Okay, I know there are prolly like 329468 of these threads, but...

http://ryn-nursery.comli.com/ <---
There it is in all it's nubish glory.

Anyway, I finally got it working, now I need to learn how to add adopatbles and edit the look. I already have a few adoptables made. I'l be moving everything from http://ryn-nursery.webs.com/, my old site.

N00bish questions I have:
1) How do you add adoptables for people to adopt?
2) How do you change the header, and look of the site?
3) How do I edit the links at the top so I can change their names and maybe link to/create a forum and/or make an FAQ/story page?
4) How can I remove adoptables so I can change them each month?

I think that's it for now.

EDIT: LOL I am dumb. Anyway, I got into the admin panel, found all that adoptables addition and deletion, but now I tried to change the "Manage Levels and Ranks" and "Manage Global Settings" and they say "Unable to write to file settings.php/levels.php" for the respective files. Any help?

This script is awesome. Thank you so much for making it. When I finally get a credit card, I will so donate.

PS: Do you guys mind if I write a quick tutorial for people that reall have no idea what they are doing?

The admin panel which i see you have found...

To get your login you have made it when you install it or you can find it in the config.php file where you set it

2) How do you change the header, and look of the site?
/templates directory, look around there are some tutorials on how to make your own design... I have one in the extras forum you may like!

3) How do I edit the links at the top so I can change their names and maybe link to/create a forum and/or make an FAQ/story page?
Through the admin panel or via editing the header to the template.

4) How can I remove adoptables so I can change them each month?
In the Delete Adoptables screen in the admin panel[hr]
By the way

Link2 is dead and Link1 is Under Review :D

OO Thank you!

Ok, more questions >>;;
How do you change the menu thinger at the top?
Like I change the "Terms of service" section to "Lore" but the top menu item still reads "Terms of Service"

Also, I still get the "Unable to write to file settings.php/levels.php" for the respective files.

You need to CHMOD the settings.php and levels.php files and a couple others to 777

thats why its not changed

I have settings.php open right now in edit format on my CP.

RE: Okay, I know there are prolly like 329468 of these threads, but...

The settings.php as well as levels.php need to be chmod 777 (writable) so that you can write to those files and change them. :)

You have to change the template to change Terms of Service to something else. Open the templates > crystalx > templates.htm file in a text editor on your computer and search for "Terms of Service". Then replace, save and re-upload that file. :)

File permissions. Your host may call it something different though.

Wow. I totally feel like an idiot.

"This feature will set correct file permissions for all files inside of your account. It will also check existence of public_html folder and fix any permission problems there.

[execute (chmod files)] <-- button"

That's what it looks like. I click the button and it just says "Fixed" and I can't edit anything.
I'm sorry, guys. Can you help again? x.x;

I think your host uses a custom control panel. Check their documentation on how to change file permissions. :)
