Trade Glitch
 

I am having a trade glitch - apparently I can't trade cash for a pet because I haven't selected another pet to trade for it?

I get the message "You have not selected an adoptable to give to your trade partner in exchange... " whenever I try to trade someone's pet for my cash.

Well this is not a glitch, it is the way trade script is supposed to work. If you trade cash for pets, it is more like shopping than trade.

Well, weren't we able to do it before? And that kinda defeats the purpose of having trading. Some people don't want to trade pets, they want to trade items or cash instead.

And I do kinda need this feature, considering a large part of getting new rats is by ratteries, where members breed their own rats and then sell them using the trade system...

EDIT: Nevermind, I found a way around it.

can you share it? I was wondering how the script would handle that as well. My way around was to add a cheap adopt for trading with like the picture of a contract or something.

I added an item - a "travel ticket" for very cheap - people just buy it, use that for paying for the transfer. So basically what you came up with. xD

EDIT: I actually tried this and it doesn't work. Apparently it really needs to be an adoptable.

Any way I can change it? :/

You can just put it in the adopts part. Same image same price... then it will be an adopt.

Alright, I'll do that I guess... perhaps do a travel case or something.
