Creating Image Folder
I'm trying to create a folder to store non-pet images, such as items, graphics, etc, in, but I can't seem to get it to work. I created a folder in the root directory called "images" and uploaded a file, let's call it "image.png" to that. So then I try to go to "http://websitename.com/images/image.png" and it simply doesn't work- can't find the folder or file.
So I don't know what to do. I'd really prefer to keep all site images stored in the site's database (so I don't have to worry about a host deleting them or something). EDIT: Okay, got it! Just had to upload a proper .htaccess file to the folder! Though this might be helpful for others who may want to do the same :) |
