Invalid ID Breeding Error

Tried to breed two adult adoptables of opposite sex, and got this error:
The selected female or male adoptables ID does not seem to exist.

The editing I've done to breeding system was to use the solution on this thread:

Any ideas?

Well did you confirm that it was the same error as what was said in the bug report? The bug report only works for Mys v1.3.4 though, since the introduction of collections framework caused the issue.
