Adoptables Showing Max Level when that isn't the case
A few of my users have reported the eggs on the site saying they are "max Level" when in fact, I know they have several levels to go. One of my own pets says the same. Why is this, and can it be fixed?

Are you running the latest Beta 2 release?
|
RE: Adoptables Showing Max Level when that isn't the case
Yup, I am. But it's fixed now :3

RE: Adoptables Showing Max Level when that isn't the case
No, actually, it's not fixed. This problem seems to happen to one adoptable in particular, and it maxes out at level 0. I am sure I put in all the images so it shouldn't be happening :3 I own that adoptable on my account and it's levelling fine.

Ok, that's odd. Is there anything that the ones that are not leveling have in common?
For some reason the level up procedure seems a bit buggered for some people sometimes. I'm not sure why too... |
RE: Adoptables Showing Max Level when that isn't the case
They're all level 0. That's about it, and they're all the same adoptable type. I went and checked the adoptable in phpadmin and they have all the images in.

Ok, that is really odd. I'll try and look into this more and see if there's anything I can do.
Are clicks for them being counted when a user clicks them? |
RE: Adoptables Showing Max Level when that isn't the case
Yup. Most of the adoptables have 60 clicks or more (20 clicks being the first level.)

This is happening a lot, and I'm getting very worried.

Ok, I really don't know why the level system isn't working correctly. It's so odd though that it is intermittent.
I'm currently working on the rewrite now and it will have a completely new leveling system, so hopefully once I release that then all the leveling issues will be solved once and for all. :) |
