I think it's the script that's the problem.

Okay, so I went and made a 000webhost site to make sure it was my host and not just the script. Lo and behold, it's the script.

On both my 2nd installation (in beta) on my existing host and my installation on 000webhost, the adoptables simply stop leveling up even though they have quite a ways to go. I can provide screenshots:

This is from the 000webhost site.

That's from my bluehost site.

Both were made using the .zip file on this site, it's the current version.

I'm really at a loss here, and I'm convinced it's the script :3 What am I doing wrong?

I think I may be installing it wrong or something. If anyone is willing to install it on a 000webhost site with a random name, just to see if it works when THEY do it, I'd be much obliged.

I'll have to check and see if there is a patch file or something I forgot to include with the latest release.

Let me ask you, do they always stop at Level 2? I think I may know what the problem is if that is the case.

Yes, always at level 2.

See if the attached files help. Replace the files with the attached ones and let me know if it works any better.

I uploaded those :) On 000webhost it stopped the problem entirely, on Bluehost it let it levelup but now it won't stop. I think it may be a problem with the host.

That's odd that it would work on one host but not another.

Did you get it working correctly though on your production site?

RE: I think it's the script that's the problem.

I have 3 sites currently using the script:

1. SolaEria.com, which is so glitched it's had to be closed to the public.

2. SolaEria.com/beta, which STILL doesn't work after the new files (it just keeps levelling.)

3. Solaeria.comuv.com, which works perfectly.

Also, Bluehost has destroyed 2 forums I have because it had a mysql overload :3 Could it be that it just has lousy MySQL?

Well, if the MySQL connection is flaky that could be the problem. If for some reason update queries are not being added to the database correctly that might explain things.

Don't worry, the new release is on its way. :)

So, if I go to a new server (which I've been meaning to anyway since my time with them is up in a month) that might fix the problem?

RE: I think it's the script that's the problem.

It might. I don't know though. I would try asking for free web hosting at http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/ and see if a host will give you a free account. If the script works on a 3rd host with the new files, then the issue is the host, but if it doesn't work then it may still be the script.
