Well I believe there was a user who got Mysidia to work with WAMPP. Forgot the username, but I believe he/she used to post an issue that was later fixed by simply enabling mod_rewrite for PHP configuration. Not sure if this will help with your problem, but at least you can find whom this user is and consult him/her on how to set it up. If you use a WAMPP webhost it may be different though, since as far as I know that user has his/her own server so its a lot easier to configure PHP settings.
