When I first started using Mysidia I didn't know much about PHP beyond what I needed to install and configure wordpress or forum software. I totally recommend checking out
codecademy.com because it's a fun and painless way to start learning some basics. Mysidia's framework is object-oriented and a bit complex... but we're here to help point you in the right direction if you want to learn.
