Nope I am aware of the difference. Short on time I copied this

So further research shows that java can run server side and be used in websites. But actually in this case it is probably not practical to try and implement with an already php script. Most programing is the same just statement syntax is done differently. I will just get around to learning PHP too.

Also I had made battle systems in javascript already but only by declaring variables myself. I am not sure how to use javascript to use sql for like level or other attack or defense stats.
