Well it isn't just about control panel, my webhost enabled wildcard dns thing on my hosting account without using the * sub domain in cPanel and I to be honest, its been 100x faster since that change.

No I mean he configured it in a different way to enable WildCard sub in a different way instead of making a * sub in cPanel. And honestly, I don't get how/why but it seemed to make the hosted forums load faster :P
