Art Preference?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the place to put this, but is there a certain type of art users on adoptable sites like to see? I know that a ton of site are looking for artists to sprite pixels, but does it really matter?

Also, is there a certain advantage to using pixel art? My vision is by far not the best but, I really still can't figure it out. O.o

I think it all just depends on the person. c: For instance, I have a friend who absolutely loathes hard shading, but I actually like it a lot more than soft shading, and I rather dislike very, very soft shading. c:
I think that people like both pixeled pets and non-pixels, but with non-pixels you have more room to work with designs and such. However, this also works well with pixels, because of their small size, the designs will be quicker to make but sometimes harder to get something to look right.

Overall, I just think it's user preference. c:

I prefer pixel pets, because I've always thought cute little objects/animals sprited looked adorable. I always loved building those rooms and cities and collecting cute pendants and food items and animals back when I was 12 or so xD But I do love all other kinds just the same, it's just something I've liked since I was little but not a deciding factor for joining an adoptable site

I loved the scaly/glittery effect that spriting can produce, but I feel that it's too time consuming given the size of adoptables I work with. XD
