help with error

Hi guys,

I added the adoptable page to my website, but when I try to go to the link on mywebsite, I get this error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/angels/domains/borrowedangels.com/public_html/pets/index.php on line 1

could someone explain to me what went wrong? I followed one of the tutorials, and I filled out eveyrthing as it was supposed to be :(

Can I have a link to your site please?

Also, try re-uploading the index.php file. Maybe it did not upload all the way or was corrupted.

Ok, please open your index.php in a text editor and paste the contents here so I can take a look.

You have any additional modifications on your site you made to the program?

The only thing I changed was the titel of the site :s

It looks like you pasted in the template file. I need to see the index.php file that you have in the pets/ directory.

Well then, that's not the correct file. Re-download the current download package and re-upload and re-install to your site without making any alterations.

okay, I deleted the folder and created everything again. I got a step further, except now I get the following errors :(

Ok. Did you run the SQL queries from SQL.txt on your database? You need to run them on the database using PHPMyAdmin and that should solve the problem. :)
