Nicknames

I'm not sure if this is a problem in the system or if this is just something funny that was put in to make people giggle. When you view the Who's Online in the main site, sometimes in the category of "Nicknames" some funny names will show up even though the member has not edited their profile (it's doing it to the three of us admins as well so we know it's not people messing around). Just curious as to why it's doing it. It seems to be names of other members (or sometimes parts of their names). http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...sh-d5i13yb.png

On the subject of the Who's Online, is there any way to change the colors of the user names, number of pets owned and such? I was able to color the category names but I can't fine the column ones. http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...sh-d5i12fn.png

In the stylesheet file, look for the declaration rules with the following classes:

• onlinelist
• onlinelistt
• onlinelistn
• onlinelistj
• onlinelistp
• onlinelistg

As for the nickname issue, I think I'll let HoF answer it.

I'm using modified version of the main theme (changed the colors, banner etc.). I went into the codes for the style sheet and none of that is in there. I tried to cntrl+f it and then scanned again myself.

My bad, I forgot about some of the major changes with the script. The file you're looking for is online.css stored inside the css directory.

I'm new at this but I think to change to profile colors etc, go to:

css/tabs.css

CSS directory is in the homing folder which is probably called public_html.

I found where to change the tab text colors (thanks to you <3) but I'm still looking at white text in the profile itself.

Erm -has a look-

In your style-city.css there is

html {
background:url("background_1.jpg") center repeat ;
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, sans-serif;
color: rgb(255, 21, 21);
font-size:12px;
}

Change this bit here:

color: rgb(255, 21, 21);

To change the color. This will also affect other parts of the site because they are linked so choose a nice color :3

umm so the problem is fixed? Anyway I do remember in the old script the who's online page is malfunctioning. Some users get wrong nicknames, fav colors and genders. I believe Mys v1.3.0 suffers this issue, not quite sure for v1.3.1 though. It is not present in v1.3.2, so don't worry about it.

Thanks for the color advise. I got that taken care of and the nicknames are stil funky but at least they're not going to be doing that in 1.3.2
