I have the basic home-page text done, needs to be a bit more, uh, welcoming at this point;
Welcome to the fine sea-side city of Ferreway!

Founded in August of 2032, we have maintained ourselves as one of the finest centers of trade activity around! Our major items of trade being the exotic Raptors that the majority of our citizens raise as pets, show creatures, and for sport. Don't worry, they're fully domesticated and the likeliness of them attempting to maul passerbies has been significantly reduced in recent times! In fact, they are wonderful animals, they come in thousands of colors, and we even have multiple varieties! I encourage you to take part in the economic activity- our cities pride- and collect some Raptors of your own! We have three different breeds (based on size), so I'm sure you'll find something you like!



I'll probably introduce an NPC host to make it friendlier.

Anyways, guess what! Concept artwork...written on my math homework XD






Levels 0/1/2 (egg), 3 (hatchling), 4 (chick), 5 (teen), and 6 (adult)! I'm undecided on which lines I want to go with for the chicks and the adults...I'm thinking of creating two sets of lines (multiple bases) to use, just mix 'em up and make it more interesting.

Ooo, nice! The last concept art looks like he's trying really hard to balance to scratch his neck. I wish I was this good at drawing anything reptilian... (are you sure you aren't already hiding a pet raptor somewhere)?

Haha, thanks! I'll be working on more adult concepts, since I'm not satisfied with either of those...and I started out drawing dragons, so I have an easier time...you should see me trying to draw anything with hooves though, it's either funny or sad XD ((Ssshh, no one's supposed to know about that!))

Some more sketches! This time a bit more work on NPC's and the shop keeper base...all shop keepers are Androids...so they do all look the same, which may bore some, but it's easier on me XD

Plus working on writing out and testing some concepts for the explore maps. I think I'm going to do some simple text-based quests and adventures, but it's all going to be illustrated to some extent, and the maps will be click-to-go sort of maps.

Right now, besides the sketches, what I'm trying to figure out is implementing a random-url script for a sort of minigame, which is very simply clicking spots on an image to find the raptor who's hiding from you, and if you find him you get an item. Plus I'd like to use the random-url for exploring, so that you'll see something like;
"What's that? You can hear something rustling in the bushes!
Investigate :: Move On"

And if you click Investigate you'll either find something or it will be nothing at all.

Random-url is my best friend when it comes to creating explore pages, quests, and games. If I could just get the thing to work properly with mysidia! Blagh.
