I want to make a little suggestion for the admin.php file. Instead of putting everything in one file making it hard to read, why not just split it into several files?
for example, if we want to create a new adoptables we would go to domainname.tld/createadopt.php or something like that instead of domainname.tld/admin.php?set=adopts&do=new I think people will be a lot less confused when editing the code to suit their needs or to install a mod for the admin cp. Again, this is just a little suggestion though... |

I do not agree with this, the admincp supplies the basis for practically everything behind the scenes of the Adopts script. Having it on one page provides less clutter.

I would have to agree with Bloodrun. There are cons to making the admin control panel different pages. It's one thing to add a mod with a plugin to the admin control panel, it's another to change the basic functions.
I am working on a project to overhaul the Admin Control Panel, so if you have any ideas please let me know. |
