There are two possibilities:

1. You accidentally copied your adoptables four times.
2. Your mysql query in myadopts.php runs 4 times after you manipulated your codes.

Of course I believe its the second possibility. Cant really be sure atm, would you mind posting the entire script of your myadopts.php to this forum enclosed with [PHP] tags? I will see what I can do to help you.
