Install in subfolder inc/config not found

installing in a sub folder named pets and it says inc/config not found (also bug tracker forum can not post to due to server misconfigs).

Did you rename config_adopts.php to config.php? (a required step)

of course. It even says so. Goes to index.php?step=2

possibly mod_rewrite issues for sub folders?

I don't think so, since I've installed in a subfolder before without issues. What's your webhost? If you use x10 then you have to apply a fix for the pathing. Otherwise, did you try reinstalling? It could've had something to do with what you placed in the url field.

I've never used GoDaddy, but I haven't heard it requires any fixes to run so that rules that part out. You should definitely try re-installing though. Just make sure that in the "script path" field you put just "/pets", assuming that's the subfolder name.

where do you want me to place that? Upload, visit pets/install, accept terms, missing config file....no instructions no where..going on a wing and a prayer here.

It's for WAMPP, but it can be applied to any installation, just skip down to the part labeled "Installing Mysidia Adoptables". It also includes what you should put into the fields while installing (complete with gif examples)
