Well this forum seems to have become quiet from way back when, so I guess it's high time I stopped lurking and join in~

Background,
well, the first adoptables site I joined was Squiby and since then have been jumping around from site to site, adding it to my list of things to try XD I was a staff member of MyAdopts before it shut down, and during that time I was really active in playing around with adoptable sites, though my art wasn't so good yet. When it shut down I kind of fell out of making it, only thinking of ideas but never really pushing through with them. I still join sites from time to time though c:

Now I decided that I'm going to try my hand on actual coding and make myself a site~ Sorry if I become really annoying when asking questions XD

Uh right now I am a freshman in college, still trying to adjust and stuff. I love anime/manga, video games, virtual pet sites and adoptable sites, and all that jazz c:

^Do you want paid or free hosting? SInce I wanted the ".com", I'm using godaddy. :3
Most people on here I think are using x10hosting. Most tutorials use it too. :3

Ah I see. My parents will never allow me to use paid hosting so I guess I will be going for a free one. x10hosting, huh? I think I used that before but I never really got the hang of it. Then again I was being lazy at the time :U I'll try it out :)

I'm interested in making an adoptables site that's called 'Airborne'. It's a site set on maybe a hundred or so years in the future where humans have recently discovered this planet that is composed of floating islands. I'm planning to put a lot of thought into it since the feature I'll be focusing on are the quests, so there will be a lot of exploring involved for the user~

Cool! What kind of adoptables are you going to have? And what theme are you going for? I've encountered utopias and distopias alike.

I'm actually not sure ;u; I guess fantasy like, but maybe not too far from home. As for theme, well, is exploration considered a theme? I guess it would be like a utopia since humans are still trying to adapt to this world, but the player would be situated as the latter wave of newcomers or something, I dunno XD Still sorting everything out ;w;
