Default MySQL error

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Host '10.50.0.40' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server in /home/a3035246/public_html/adopt/inc/functions.php on line 13
I uploaded a new clean verison of Adoptables and put my old config in for the DB etc what has gone wrong? :(

You will have to change the details in inc > config.php for the new server. What that error means is that your new site is trying to connect to the database on the old server and the old server is refusing the connection.

Are you trying to run the files from one web host and have the database on the other?

no, i was editing the files and something went wrong, so i reuploaded a clean versoin of the adoptables script. It is on the same server and host.

Double check your database information. The error means that the script cannot connect with the information provided, which likely means the details are incorrect. :)

Yep :P I am soooo stupid, i looked at the config and didnt even realise the URL and path were form my other site XD Lol i actually feel like an idiot now haha
