Lightbulb Help Uploading Code

Hi, I'm fairly new to this, so if you could help me, it would be great. I am starting a website using your EasyAdoptables Script. My webhost, 000webhost, doesn't let me download the entire Adoptables folder into their server, so I downloaded the files separately, and ended up with tons of errors. I tried fixing it, and fixed most of it, but I can't seem to fix this one error. So, I tried downloading SmartFTP and uploading the folder using that, and failed, again. If you want to see the error, you could just go to chubzy-world.comoj.com. If you could help me, it would be awesome!
Thanks!
Ashlee

Try using net2ftp.com. Just upload the files in a zipped folder via ftp. Remember to import the sql file in the database.

Yeah. I was wondering if that was it, but it seemed to look right.

if the sql was imported, and the config is set up right, and all the files are installed in the correct folders, it should work. But my guess its either the config or sql.

Too, other users have reported issues with 000webhost and the database configuration. Double check with them that you've got the correct config details for your database as theirs are weird. :)

Okay, I finally fixed my information, now I get this error.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111 in /home/a2211934/public_html/adoptables/index.php on line 14

Im not sure. Post your config settings, x out the password.[hr]
From what it looks like though, 000webhost is blocking it - through a firewall possibly. So I would assume that its on their end.

That looks like a host-related issue with your host's server. :(
