Default Editing adoptables

How can I delete an entire adoptable? I just need to start over, was messing with the site to see how things worked and now that I understand, I have a messed up adoptable floating around.

umm I believe it is possible to hard delete an adoptable, though the easiest way is to get rid of its entry from your mysql database from phpmyadmin

you go to edit an adoptables levels, then go to the first stage, click edit, select a checkbox that asks you if you want to delete it, then select (out of several options) the hard purge one. :3

I'd advise staying out of the mysql until you know your way around your site pretty well - it's confusing. The admin panel should be able to give you everything you need without going through the back-end of your site. :3
