Hi, I'm Kae!

Short Bio: I'm a college-aged female living in the United States with a lot of free time. I really enjoy a lot of various hobbies but programming is my favorite.

Experience: I learned HTML when I was ten on my own, and have slowly progressed from there. I've taken classes in VB.NET, Java, HTML and CSS but my language of choice is definitely PHP & MySQL. My programming experience is about 8 years, and about a year since I first learned PHP & MySQL(however PHP is actually quite similar to Java in many aspects).

What Makes Me Different?: Almost all of my programming experience has been with Rusnak, Mysidia and other Adoptables engines. I enjoy programming for these kinds of sites so much and I'm really very competent in understanding how they work and how best to create a code to work for them. I'm also a learn-as-you-go person. If there's something I don't know how to do, I'll learn it and implement it. I also go back and am able to revise and make my older coding more efficient and I'm constantly improving and I would consider myself right now to be at an intermediate level.

How Do I Compare?: Expert programmers charge anywhere between 25-50 dollars an HOUR for scripting. While I'm not at expert level yet, I charge about 10-12 dollars per hour depending on the difficulty of the job. I'm also very flexible and willing to program for a lesser rate with the understanding that the job will be consistent(paid a certain amount per week every week).

Other Things To Consider: I know HTML and CSS very well, and have dipped into graphic and web design and understand the basics well enough to avoid screwing up templates or themes with my programming. My programming is always done first from the stance of security, then efficiency, which expert coders have been able to recognize in my coding. I'll also re-iterate that I'm constantly learning, so my knowledge base is constantly expanding which means more resources for you. I'm also familiar with Cronjobs which can add another dimension to any site.

If you're interested in hiring me, please drop a reply, a PM or an email anytime. Thanks for reading!

Kae

cool I could definitely use a programmer for the plans i have with my site. However I can't really pay now so the plan is to get the basics working and if all goes well as far as traffic and revenue then it will all go towards bettering the site :meow:

However if you have free time you could co-run the site with me? And we could split revenue? Some ideas I had were simple text battles based on couple skills and amounts of clicks or level. and maybe races that worked in same way as well as items. Check out some screens... there will be few hundred different ways they can evolve so ill definitely use your other mod. there's many different colors plus colors mixed from breeding, and many evolution paths based on skills if there good bad or neutral.

It sounds interesting but honestly I'm just looking for some extra jobs on the side and I'm afraid I really don't have the time to work heavily on a project that I'm not being paid to do. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you can get your site rolling but the other thing is I'm really not into starting up sites myself either. But don't let that stop you from working on and opening you site. :meow:

Yeh I understand and I knew that I was asking a lot, but I thought I'd still throw it out there. If the site does well I will definitely need a programer, and it was a help me help you proposal. I'm still looking for partners though and this would be the first site I'm actually planning on running as like you I just build them and they sit lol. And sorry to have hijacked this thread :displeased:

Can you say what parts you coded for the Mysidiaa engine? also how long roughly does it take to code something?
