[WANTED] Beta Testers and Rattery Owners

So I'm looking for some people to help me with my site - I need two things; beta testers and Rattery owners.

+ Beta Testers will receive 1,000 nibbles (cash) and a bonus pet at the end for their efforts. I just need you to go around the site and nit-pick.

+ Rattery owners is somewhat more permanent; I'm looking for a few people to own "ratteries", which is basically kinda like being a breeder. You get to pick a few rats (or just one) which isn't available anywhere else on the site. You will get an adult pair or two of these rats, which you breed and sell to people via the trading station. You pick prices and get to use NPCs and everything if you'd like. I can't really offer you anything for this, except the free rats you breed of course, but you do get to make your own money. :D

What's the point of a rattery breeder? I know what they do but why do they do it?

Just to offer variety of choice basically. I didn't want to have the adoption center overflowing with different types and hiding all of those promo codes would have killed me over time, so I thought, just let the members do some of the work, right? Besides, it promotes member interaction and coming back to the site; checking for orders or seeing what new ratteries have (since they could have any type of updating pattern, as appose to the one rat a week thing I'm planning to do).

It's also from realistic undertones again - breeders account for a pretty large presentage of rats in private hands. Basically, you get them from snake food breeders, pet stores that bred their own or from breeders (some of whom are actual breeders and others who are just idiots). Breeders also account for what passes as pedigree or healthy lineage.

Plus, when I was first doing this site and would ask people what they wanted, everyone had completely different answers, so I was just like "screw this" and made ratteries. Want a certain type? Breed it yourself! :D

If you give me a few minutes, in the ratties forum I'm going to making a list of premade rats not yet added - you can pick from those or mix and match and create your own. I'll run you through the process once you've decided what rats you want and how many and so on.

Okay guys, in the created rats thread, all currently available rats are up - I have also released the current templates and will be posting the color swatches within an hour.

@Silver, you may pick as many as you'd like. :3 Between two-three if you're a little uncertain would be my suggestion.

I just fixed all of the images, I had forgotten to change what folder they were in... was saying they were all in the Capped folder. xD

The Slate Blue EI has a different image, just so you know, they had the same name as the black and kept overwriting each other.

I can certainly see about creating and getting those to you in the next day or two (tonight I've got a bunch of projects on the run, so I can only do this inbetween everything else) You can start setting up a Rattery in the forum if you'd like.

Any price is good, but we've got a general price range here:

Starter: 5-10
Common: 25-50
Uncommon: 100-500
Rare: 500-1000
Limited Edition 250-500

You can meddle around with it; rarity will affect a bunch of different things, like for example, if you pick a common pair, we may give you three breeding pairs free of charge over time, but only one rare breeding pair, and so on. Once the art gets rebooted, I plan to do a lot more with it, but I haven't done too much with it at the moment.

I'm confused... lol but I guess I'll get the hang of it. Will I know the rarity of mine?

You can pick the rarity of yours. Though Chocolate/Cocoa is normally considered uncommon/rare and slate blue is pretty common, so that may influence your prices if you'd like.

OKAY, all of your rats have been added. They are currently at level 1, breeding age with 25 clicks each and there should be a male and female of each type. If you're interested in getting another pair, just contact me - though if you find yourself not wanting them anymore, I'm afraid it is up to you to find a breeder willing to take them.

If you breed them together they will - they are just like any other rat on the site, you coud breed a cocoa blazed with a white self any day like normal, but to get 100% results, it is best to have a pair. :3

I was thinking one of each, that way it's a 50/50 chance for one or the other.
